Griffith Student Quotes…
Erika Hernandez 6th grade
The After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles program is important to me because it’s kind of like my second family. I get along great with the staff, especially Jose. He is my favorite countdown leader. My favorite classes are School of Rock and guitar. Jose’s countdown is my favorite countdown because he tries to help us with our homework and he also teaches us a little about guitar. I like guitar class because ever since I was a little girl, I told my mom that one day I was going to learn how to play guitar. My most cherishable moment was when I met the staff and I saw that they were really nice people.

What I like about guitar is that I can learn to play the cords, drums I like it when it’s loud. School of Rock is my favorite because my friend and I are there together, and because I listen to music. My favorite countdown leaders are Marcos and Jose because they are cool and funny.
