Philosophy & Goals:

It is our belief that each child is capable of learning through his/her unique and individual style and at his/her rate of development. Through the administration of wide range in services, the After-School All-Stars can support expanded learning opportunities for youth. Studies show that the effect of such services results in reduced drug use and violence; increased literacy education, leadership, health and nutrition, technology, social services, recreation and art programs for participating youth.

Program goals:

• Inspire youth to learn through an array of after-school enrichment activities, both individually and in groups.
• Provide a safe environment to students while offering a variety of structured activities that are appropriate to an after-school setting.
• Strengthen the family unit by assisting children in developing a strong set of core values that they will carry with them throughout their lives.
• Teach students the value and rewards that result from embracing and respecting cultural diversity.
• Assist students to develop positive self-images and identity through a variety of supportive activities.
