The LA Dodgers host meet-and –greet with ASAS-LA Students

Dodgers’ centerfielder, Juan Pierre will host 40 children from the After-School All-Stars-Los Angeles (ASAS-LA) before Friday's game. Each kid will receive a T-shirt and dinner, courtesy of Panda Express, and will get to watch batting practice and get Pierre's autograph. ASAS-LA is a middle school after-school program provider that educates, enlightens, and inspires thousands of youth at 16 middle schools in at-risk areas throughout LA County.
Actress Tichina Arnold from the popular sitcom "Everybody Loves Chris" will sing the National Anthem and comedian and talk-show host Adam Carolla will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
The first 50,000 fans at Friday's game will receive cooler bags, presented by ampm.
