Ferrari Hosts Charity Event for ASAS-LA

Ferrari hosted a charitable gala at its Beverly Hills showroom this past Friday, April 3 benefiting After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles; a non-profit organization, whose programs help disadvantaged students in inner-city Los Angeles communities, as well as educate, enlighten and inspire thousands of middle and high school students each day. The 250 esteemed guests in attendance at the Beverly Hills fundraising event enjoyed a modern dance performance by 12 After-School All-Star students. A silent auction offering luxury items from high-end donors was held for the After-School All-Stars, 100% of the proceeds went directly toward the organization.

The next morning, 12 students from ASAS-LA’s model car making program came to the Ferrari Beverly Hills showroom to display the model-scale Ferraris that they made in their All-Star class that was filmed by Speed TV’s “SuperCars Exposed” show and will air in May. Later, the students enjoyed riding in real Ferraris, as a convoy of five of the luxury cars made their way to the Hollywood Hills home of All-Star donor and luxury car aficionado, Mr. Jack Corwin. When the students arrived at the home of the donor’s private home, a check presentation of $5,000 was made to the charitable organization. Check out more photos here and here
