Program Site Staffing

After-School All-Stars offers several opportunities for professional growth. Program positions include Program Leaders, Site Assistants, and Site Coordinators. Each position is valued and enables personal interests and expertise to be incorporated into program content.

  • Site Mentor:
    The Site Mentor will be responsible for both the operational compliance and program quality of 1-2 ASAS-LA sites, ensuring the implementation of mission-based programming that educates, enlightens, and inspires students in grades K-12. Management responsibilities include the understanding of funding terms and conditions of state and federal grants and their direct correlation to program attendance, as well as budget management as it relates to personnel and non-personnel costs. The Site Mentor will report directly to a Program Director.
  • Program Leader:
    The Program Leader will assist in providing leadership and support in academic, cultural and recreational enrichment. Under the direct supervision of the ASAS-LA Program Specialist, the Program Leader will provide a safe environment that educates, enlightens, and inspires youth in a school setting.
  • Program Specialist:
    The Program Specialist will lead and manage an ASAS-LA site to ensure a safe and dynamic program environment that educates, enlightens and inspires youth in an after-school setting.

After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles is happy to announce partnerships with Bright Star Schools, ICEF Public Schools, Montbello Unified School District, Partnership Los Angeles Schools, Los Angeles Leadership Schools, Alliance for College-Ready Public Schools, Synergy Schools, Value Schools, Valor Academy, and Big Picture Schools on the California Department of Education 21st Century grant.  All-Stars will be working with 28 schools within these networks to hopefully bring dynamic and collaborative learning communities to their campuses in the 2012-2013 school year.  For more information on After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles please visit their website at www.la-allstars.org.
