An Awesome Opportunity at Dodgers Stadium!

50 students were treated like true VIPs when they attended a private event at Dodgers Stadium.  The event, hosted by Popchips, provided the opportunity for students to interact with Dodgers' shortstop Dee Gordon! Dee was extremely gracious to the students, leading them in a game of baseball right on the stadium field. During the friendly game, Dee stopped to give students batting pointers, baseball tips and words of encouragement.  Students were inspired by listening to Dee speak about his love for baseball and how staying in school enabled him to further his sports career.

The All-Stars later enjoyed a private tour of the stadium and were gifted with signed Dodgers memorabilia and Popchips swag.  Afterwards, students headed to a grassy park neighboring the stadium for a pizza party hosted by Popchips before returning to Dodgers Stadium to watch the professional game that evening.
